Who we are

Maison Orvane is an online home furnishings boutique serving customers in Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Account details: if you create an account, your email address, display name and the pieces saved to your wishlist.
• Contact and quote requests: the name, email, phone, city, room measurements, budget and message you choose to send us.
• Orders: checkout is handled by Shopify, which collects your name, shipping and billing address, and payment details to process your order. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Style advisor photos: if you use our AI stylist, the photo and preferences you provide are sent to our AI provider to generate recommendations. We do not keep the photo afterwards.
• On your device: your bag and wishlist are remembered in your browser's local storage.

How we use it

To process and deliver orders, answer your questions and quotes, keep your account and wishlist available across devices, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the store: Shopify (orders and payments), our hosting and database provider, our AI provider (style advisor only), and the carriers who deliver your order. Each is required to protect your information.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax records for orders).

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, at any time through our contact page. You can delete your wishlist yourself at any time.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
